Job Description:

GDIT is conducting a search for an AI OPS Solutions Architect which will support our OCTO growth and AIOPS Digital Accelerator teams. The selected candidate must have the ability to work a hybrid schedule 2 or 3 days per week in Falls Church, VA.

HOW AIOps Architect WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Engineer and integrate technological capabilities in our Lab to provide advanced AIOps capabilities around customer use cases
• Research, evaluate and select modern and emerging technologies that offer innovative capabilities and that are viable for Federal Civilian, Defense, and Intel consumption
• Serve as a thought leader to achieve enhanced and resilient autonomous IT operations.  
• Deliver value-added services, efficiencies, cost savings, improve enterprise observability, customer experience, and increase the resilience of Federal IT enterprises through AIOps solutions
• Lead demonstrations & discussions around solutions and GDIT AIOps capabilities with external customers and internal teams
• Collaborate with our Alliance team and leading vendors with intelligent AIOPs offerings. Research and identify solutions fit for use in Federal Government customer requirements.
• Develop and build extensible and reusable prototypes to address specific customer use case scenarios as part of sales or delivery engagements
• Support the development of sales and delivery of work products; inclusive of presentations, narrated videos, marketing materials, build guides, playbooks, etc.
• Implement and optimize AI and machine learning tools to detect performance anomalies, predict outages, automate incident response, and improve overall operational efficiency
• Support capture & proposal development as well as on-contract efforts to design, bid and bring AIOps solutions to customers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Batchelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field
• Required Experience: 15 years+ of progressive technical leadership implementation, and customer engagement.

• Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in automation solutions relevant in the IT Enterprise, such as Modular Open Systems Architecture, API-based toolchain integration, Data Model Design for IT Operations Data, ITSM Platform development and configuration experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with technologies like ScienceLogic, Splunk, ServiceNow ITOM, and AIOPs tools.  
  • Deep understanding of monitoring architecture and event management. Ability to configure and optimize complex monitoring environments.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), including experience working with transformer-based models such as GPT, BERT, or T5.
  • Experience with tuning and optimizing monitoring policies, event rules, and configuration of Operational Intelligence.
  • Ability to work closely & productively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to rapidly tackle evolving challenges in the field of AIOps & AI to meet successfully meet business requirements and performance benchmarks
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and business stakeholders to understand needs and hot buttons and to clearly articulate technological concepts, GDIT solutions, and the associated “so what”
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and optimize AI/ML models and systems.

• Desired Certifications: Security +, AIOPS Foundation & Observabilities Foundations, IT Operations tool specific tool certifications, ServiceNow Platform Certifications.
• Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
• Location: Hybrid position working at our GDIT Headquarters in Falls Church, VA.

The likely salary range for this position is $178,500 - $241,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
