The Opportunity:
As a Data Scientist/Engineer with a specialty in visualization, you will be responsible for creating insightful and interactive data visualizations that facilitate understanding and decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in tools like Power BI and Tableau, combined with strong SQL skills, will be essential in delivering high-quality visual analytics. Familiarity with Python, Databricks, and AWS is advantageous and will support your ability to manage and analyze data effectively.

Responsibilities:
Data Visualization on Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to represent complex datasets clearly and effectively.
Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity in your visualizations.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data

scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Best Practices Implementation: Apply industry best practices in data visualization to ensure clarity, accuracy, and user engagement. This includes understanding the audience, choosing appropriate chart types, simplifying designs, and using colors effectively.
Data Storytelling: Translate complex data findings into compelling visual stories that drive strategic decision-making and business outcomes.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and analytics to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years relevant experience
Proficiency in the following:
Power BI and Tableau for data visualization; strong command of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
 

Desired:
Familiarity with Python for data analysis
Experience with Databricks and AWS

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
