Senior Officer, Digital Enablement 

 

  • ​​Full-time​, ​Fixed Term position 8 months​  

  • Salary Level HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation 

  • Based at the ​Melbourne CBD​ campus, ​and hybrid ways of working​ 

 

About the role 

As the Senior Officer, Digital Enablement, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of digital solutions that improve business processes using established platforms.  

 

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing digital solutions and providing guidance and advice on possible new platforms and products to meet the needs of operational teams. This role works in collaboration with college professional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending, developing, and enabling digital enhancements aligned with operational needs. This role will also assist with project management to support and launch our business operations. 

 

To be successful in this position, you will have a tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, experience, and demonstrated non-traditional learning pathways (e.g. industry certifications, bootcamps, or self-directed learning)  

 

You will also have: 

 

  • Experience in analysing complex business processes and effectively translating these into technical solutions or automated workflows.  

  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies (e.g., Excel VBA, Visual Basic, Python, or similar languages).  

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies, standards, and procedures within technical environments. Good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, internally and externally, and to facilitate the integration of a range of internal and external procedures and requirements. 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage work independently and collaboratively within teams to support organisational objectives.  

 

Desirable: Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure Logic Apps, Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow, Salesforce; knowledge of REST APIs; as well as proficiency in high-level programming languages; and an understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and large language models (LLMs).

About the College of Business and Law 

As one of the largest Business Schools in the Asia Pacific region, the College of Business and Law is comprised of five schools – four in Melbourne and one in Vietnam - delivering a broad range of programs in Business, ranging from Certificates up to PHD levels.
