Supply Chain & Retail

Supply Chain Services provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmacies and hospital nationwide. The business supports a diverse customer base through the provision of strong service levels coupled with innovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the business provides services and supports that help independent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficult environment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life, Allcare, McCauleys and Hickeys symbol brands.

Pharma – On Demand

The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply business that sources and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company’s main divisions encompass everything from International Sales through Sales to NGO’s and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and the storage and distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.

We are currently recruiting a Master Data Specialist within the Uniphar Group. This is a fixed term position and an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career within a dynamic, fast paced environment at the centre of a growing business.

The successful candidate: must be able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines. They will develop a full understanding of our Master Data processes & procedures ensuring data accuracy and compliance with all regulatory obligations. Data modelling and visualisation activities driving optimum data consistency will also be a key success factor in our near-term transition program for ERP ,WMS and MDM platforms. A key part of this role currently is working on the development of an xDM platform. The Master Data Specialist will join the team in working on and delivering the xDM platform as part of the Semarchy Project to various parts of the business, with a view to it being used Business wide in the future. As part of a project team, they are able to develop the technical solution within xDM to help realise business value.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of SQL Script, preferably SemQL
• Experience testing & resolving xDM related bugs
• Knowledge of Automate Studios/Precisely script writing
• Competent with Microsoft Excel – formulas, vlookup’s & macro’s etc
• Knowledge of SAP, iWac’s, Cache & SharePoint an advantage
• Good planning & organising skills with good time management.
• Analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability in a busy, fast-moving environment
