Senior Statistical Programmer / Analyst III

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Provides subject matter expertise in statistical programming, utilizing SAS, SQL, and other programming languages (e.g. R, Python). • Identifies opportunities to implement automated data analytical solutions to increase decision efficiency and consistency related to consumer safety.
• Develops and maintains SAS and other programming syntax codes to perform automated dataset validation and statistical output generation. • Develops analysis datasets, tables, figures, and other relevant outputs. • Maintains documentation, as appropriate.
• Contributes to the development of Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP).
• Provides quality review support to safety reports. • Authors programming output specifications.
• Statistical Programmers may perform Database Analysts roles after undergoing cross-functional training.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reporting of security incidents and PIMS breaches as applicable
• Comply with company QMS, ISMS and PIMS requirements and applicable regulatory requirements,
• Demonstrate adherence and compliance to PIMS/GDPR requirements as follows: processed fairly, transparently, and lawfully; collected for specified and legitimate purposes; adequate, relevant, and limited to the specified purposes; processed in a secure manner
• Report any potential or actual Security Breaches to the regional and/or global DPO & Security Incidents to CISO/ applicable distribution list.
• Contribute towards the achievement of Quality Objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics (or any related degree) with minimum of three years of SAS or related programming experience
• Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders as subject matter expert on statistical programming. Knowledge in statistical methods and results interpretation is a plus
• Ability to uphold data integrity, use of appropriate statistical methodology, and delivery of quality results to support initiatives 
• Proficiency in SAS, Python, or R programming
• Excellent attention to detail and use of logical reasoning
• Accountability and responsibility in executing assigned tasks
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple assignments under strict timelines with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work within a cross functional team environment and communicate, negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders to fulfil completion of project requirements
• Excellent verbal communication and strong writing skills in English
