About the role

This role involves working in the Category Growth Organisation of Aircare & Pest in Essential Home, working with a multi-functional team (Marketing, R&D & Trade Marketing) that is responsible for developing a robust commercial innovation strategy and product pipeline for the next 3-5 years for Aircare & Pest across the world. You will lead a team of I&A Managers.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the voice of consumers & will have the freedom to put the end user at the heart of our brand & innovation strategies! Focus areas will be to:


•    Drive the category’s growth by leveraging actionable consumer insights and analytics to drive the Strategic roadmap, Equity, Innovation and Success models for our global brands. Think and act with a business lens playing an active role in strategic decision-making.
•    Develop your insights team from a functional perspective to continue upskilling our talent. Ensure Consumer Insight is known and valued for subject matter expertise, curiosity, creativity and innovation, objectivity, actionable storytelling, technical excellence, business acumen, strategic mindset, thought leadership, and a passion for change. 
•    Establish strong interdependent partnership with the IMEx I&A organizations to strengthen Innovation Programs via ensuring relevance to the regions and diffusion of market specific knowledge.
•    Establish effective partnerships with key External Partners / Agencies
•    Influence stakeholders by actively and persuasively representing consumer voice to drive impactful decision-making
•    Manage the global consumer research budget

The experience we're looking for

•    10 years+ of experience in consumer & market insights or a related field, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research
•    Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to turn vision into action, motivate others to achieve goals, and follow through on decisions.
•    Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision making at all levels of a complex global organization.
•    Passionate about understanding human behaviour and innovative thinker, always seeking new, efficient ways to drive innovation
•    Turn complex information and ideas into simple and actionable outputs.
•    Have an action-oriented mindset with an ability to think strategically.
•    Demonstrated ability to get beyond the present and understand long term trends, tell an insightful story about future consumers, and identify opportunities for growth.
•    Skilled in project management, with a focus on agile, end-to-end project ownership and excellence in execution
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset
•    Experienced in the innovation development process and design-based product innovation
•    Strong business acumen, understanding financial metrics, and business operations
•    Trusted partner with the ability to build alignment and challenge the status quo
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to various audiences who builds trust-based relationships
•    Team player, inclusive and collaborative
•    Excellent social, written and verbal communication skills (in English)
