We are looking for an intern to work on one of our top initiatives.  The AI Agent Engineering Intern partners with our engineering and product teams to build, integrate, and deploy intelligent agents. You’ll gain hands-on experience end-to-end—from prototype to production—using modern web frameworks, LLM APIs, and tooling pipelines. At least 8-12 weeks of commitment is required.

What you will do:

  • Agent Prototyping & Development
    • Rapidly prototype AI agents using LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude).
    • Design and iterate on customer knowledge base, dialogue flows, system prompts, and tool integrations.
  • Full-Stack Implementation
    • Build and extend agent interfaces and dashboards with Next.js and React.
    • Integrate backend APIs to support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge bases, and custom toolchains.
  • Prompt Engineering & Tooling
    • Craft, test, and fine-tune prompts for diverse use cases.
    • Set up CI/CD pipelines for prompt versions and agent deployments.
  • Integration & Deployment
    • Embed agents into web, chat, and API-first environments.
    • Monitor real-time performance metrics and implement observability (logs, dashboards).
  • Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and UX designers.

What we are looking for:

  • Python Proficiency: Strong experience writing clean, maintainable Python code.
  • Full-Stack Web: Hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript for web development, and server-side development using any framework (e.g., Node.js, Django, Express).
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication, documentation skills, and comfort working in agile teams.

Extra helpful if you have:

  • Prior exposure to prompt engineering frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, Vercel, GCP Cloud Functions).
  • UX design or product management involvement in AI products.
  • Experience with Django or similar Python web frameworks.

What you will earn:

  • Deep dive into cutting-edge agentic AI development and full-stack deployment.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and design experts.
  • Mentorship from senior AI engineers and opportunities for full-time conversion.
  • Exposure to real customer use cases, performance tuning, and production-grade tooling.
  • $5,000 CAD per month
