Department Overview: The PWM Technology department is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and services that support our Private Wealth Management clients. The Client Facing Technologies (CFT) team is responsible for the development and support of all client-facing channels, including Mobile, E-Banking, Digital, WhatsApp, and WeChat.
Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Executive Director to lead our Client Facing Technologies team. This individual will be responsible for managing the development and support of our client-facing platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of digital technologies, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
> Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the strategic vision for client-facing technologies, aligning with the broader PWM Technology goals and business objectives.
> Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
> Technology Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and user-friendly client-facing platforms across multiple channels.
> Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
> Innovation and Modernization: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI, ML, and cloud computing, to enhance platform capabilities and user experience.
> Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all platforms comply with relevant regulatory and risk management requirements.
> Resource Planning: Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and vendor relationships to optimize team performance and project delivery.
> Performance Monitoring: Implement metrics and KPIs to monitor platform performance, user engagement, and team productivity, driving continuous improvement. Technical Requirements:
> Software Development: Strong proficiency in software development with experience in Object-Oriented design and development. Proficiency in languages such as Java, Typescript, Python is essential.
> Web Technologies: Thorough understanding of web technologies and architectures, including experience with Angular / React and CSS.
> Database Skills: Proficient in database design and management, with experience in databases such as MongoDB, Snowflake, DB2, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
> Security Awareness: Knowledge of internet attack vectors, protection mechanisms, web application vulnerabilities, and their solutions.
> Agile Methodologies: Experience in adopting and implementing Agile practices to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
> Global Collaboration: Experience working with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.
Required Experience and Skills:
> Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
> Experience: 15+ years of experience in technology, with experience on client-facing digital platforms in the financial services industry.
> Leadership Skills: Strong people management skills with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
> Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
> Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
