Job Title: Presales Specialist

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Presales Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to participate in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy for SAP Signavio as a data specialist.  

Expectations and Tasks:  

Interacts with prospective customers through discovery conversations, product solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions. Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs. Demonstrate knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories. Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals. Present to customers “remotely” using virtual technologies (SAP Virtual Studio and Adobe Connect). Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project or implementation team to ensure a smooth transition. Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely. Support Design Thinking workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects.  

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Prior experience, internship or academic coursework must include each of the following: 

• SQL Databases, including HANA, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL; 

• Data Science including Python, R, or Pandas; 

• ETL including Tableau, BigQuery, Informatica, or Hadoop; 

• Java or JavaScript; 

• Linear Regression Analysis, Clustering Analysis, and Anomaly detection Reporting and Analytics using Tableau, PowerBI, Oracle, Google Cloud, or Microstrategy; and  

• Robotic Process Automation using Automation Anywhere, UIPath, Blueprism or Microsoft.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $93,558 - $116,775. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $93,558 - $155,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
