Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Engineer at Patronus AI, you will contribute to a product that is addressing one of the most important and challenging problems facing society’s adoption of AI today. You will work in a fast-paced environment in which you will work on all stages of product development: conception, system design, implementation, polish, and maintenance.

In this role, you will:

• Build high performance user interfaces for the product, such as LLM evaluation workflows, advanced analytics, search, and data visualizations
• Design efficient data models and REST APIs
• Architect and implement agentic systems
• Develop internal tools and libraries (e.g. data visualization library) to improve simplicity and productivity for the broader engineering team
• Consider everything a ‘work in progress’. Constantly polish existing features and iterate on customer feedback
• Closely collaborate with cross-functional partners in software engineering, design, product, ML, and research

Above all, we look for a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, relentless drive, and passion for engineering and product. You are a great fit if you have a background in the following:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
• Experience with modern UI frameworks like React and web-oriented programming languages like TypeScript
• Experience with Python and backend frameworks like FastAPI or Django
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and familiarity with vector databases and columnar databases
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS
• Have good character, integrity, and respect for others!
