About the project

Our client is a giant corporation with 90000 employees globally. They have their own innovative IT department handling the whole cycle of development of the products used by the organization. You will work in an international expert team to develop sophisticated software solutions that have a direct impact on almost every aspect of modern life. You will use the innovative practices and the latest technologies to deliver safe and sustainable products to their customers around the world. Data Analytics is a new discipline in the Technical and Sustainability function of our client. The company is going to generate more data than ever before, and it needs to build the systems to support this and for making better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines consolidating global operational data

• Enable seamless access to unified business insights through a centralized data platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, governed, and production-ready data solutions

Qualifications

• Expert in Python and PySpark; strong experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Apache Airflow

• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services; experience building scalable batch and streaming pipelines

• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modular, reusable code development

• Solid understanding of data modeling, lifecycle management, governance, and security (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)

• Strong communication skills; experience working in agile, cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow
• Performance tuning and cost optimization
• Experience with both real-time and batch data processing
