The Role:

We’re looking for anĀ E-commerceĀ Data Analyst to join our centralised data team, with a dedicated focus on supporting our marketing functions. The ideal candidate will have 1 -2 years of experience in an e-commerce company. This role will act as the key analytical partner to our two marketing teams, performance marketing and Influencer marketing. The role will facilitate the reporting of metrics such as spend, CAC and LTV for these stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include using dbt to build our data into accurate and dynamicĀ models, working with marketing teams to define and achieve requirements and buildingĀ reporting dashboards for stakeholders. You will report to the Data Lead and work closely with the Head of Growth and Head of Performance Marketing.

This is a junior role; pleaseĀ do not apply if you have more than 3 years of experience.

šŸš€ Some of your responsibilities:

  • Create marketing attribution models (in dbt) and reports (in ThoughtSpot) with a special focus on LTV and customer retention
  • Setting up website analytics reporting using sources such as GA and Tag Manager
  • Ad hoc analysis including product performance, customer segmentation, LTV
  • modelling, A/B testing reporting
  • Translate business logic into code seamlessly to help capture key metrics

šŸš€ What we need from you:

Required Experience

  • 1 - 2 years in data analytics in an e-commerce business
  • Strong SQL Skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions)
  • Modern Data Stack experience - particularly dbt
  • Use of data visualisation tools, ThoughtSpot (beneficial)
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms like GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Klaviyo,etc.
  • Web Analytics experience
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce metrics and attribution models
  • Data warehouse exposure - Snowflake, BigQuery etc.
  • Excel, Google Sheets

Beneficial Experience

  • Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platform
  • Fivetran, data engineering etc.
  • GitHub Experience
  • Business Analytics
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating confidence and clarity in conveying information
  • Stakeholder Management
