This role

As an AI Enablement Specialist, your mission is to bring Employment Hero’s AI-first strategy to life - by helping teams turn promising ideas into real, working AI-enabled solutions.

In this role, you'll partner with teams across the business to design, automate, and integrate AI-powered workflows using modern tools and platforms. You’ll work hands-on to unlock blocked initiatives, build out smart integrations, and guide teams in embedding automation and intelligence into their day-to-day work.

You’ll play a dual role: both as a technical enabler - designing and delivering solutions - and as a multiplier - pairing with business stakeholders to uplift skills, coach on platform capabilities, and help make AI adoption feel accessible and practical. You’ll operate as part of the AI Enablement Team and be a critical connector between experimentation and scaled impact.

This will include

AI Workflow Development

• Design, build, and deploy AI workflows, automations, and agents using modern platforms (e.g. Relevance.ai, RPA Platforms, Zapier, etc.)
• Translate business use cases into technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to align on expected outcomes
• Write scripts, prompts, and data-handling logic to enhance AI performance and integrate with EH systems

AI Agent Development

• Support the design, build, and deployment of AI agents using low-code/no-code platforms
• Feed structured and unstructured data into agent workflows and test responses for quality and reliability
• Write and tweak simple scripts or platform-native logic to automate actions within agents
• Iterate on prompt structures to improve agent responses over time

Integration and Automation

• Work with APIs to connect AI agents with operational tools and data sources
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand needs and translate them into practical AI workflows
• Troubleshoot and refine integrations for performance and usability

Enablement and Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders to explore and validate use cases for AI agent automation
• Assist in documenting best practices and creating simple how-tos or demos for internal enablement
• Support other teams in becoming self-sufficient on the platform once you've gained experience

Testing and Deployment

• Experiment with prompt structures, data formats, and integration paths to improve agent performance
• Participate in structured testing, feedback loops, and quality assurance before deploying agents into production
• Monitor agent behaviour post-deployment to identify and address edge cases or performance gaps

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring

• 1–3 years of experience in a technology, integration, or automation-related role
• Familiarity with APIs and how to send/receive API requests (REST, JSON)
• Basic Python skills — enough to write, read, and modify simple scripts or workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and the curiosity to explore how AI can improve everyday business processes
• AI prompting or agent-building experience (e.g. in Relevance.ai, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) is a nice to have, but not required
• Effective communicator who’s comfortable explaining tools or workflows to non-technical teams
