Johnson and Johnson MedTech is currently recruiting for a Senior Analyst – Global Strategic Insights. This role will be based in Raritan, NJ or Cincinnati, OH under a hybrid schedule.

General Summary
The Sr. Analyst Global Strategic Insights role is responsible for conducting market analytics, forecasting, and supporting portfolio development within Strategic Insights in support of the Global J&J MedTech Franchise. The position will serve as a key partner collaborating with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to create insights into market trends, surgeon & economic stakeholder behavior and other factors that influence business decisions. The role will work with strategy and platform teams to support market insight initiatives including market sizing, procedure analysis, and forecasting. Proficiency in business operations and comprehension is essential, as the role necessitates proactive suggestions of tools and methodologies to fortify forecasting models and business strategy implementation. With oversight, the position will have responsibility for implementing strategic and tactical marketplace insight projects and activities, including managing external resources.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and implement advanced forecasting models to support a differentiated business strategy, informing strategic direction of both new and current opportunities. These models will include the integration and analysis of diverse and intricate datasets, facilitating strategic decision-making processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis involving the collection, cleaning and interpretation of complex data sets from various sources to derive insights and identify trends.
- Analyze global market trends, business models, and competitive financial reports to extract actionable insights, evaluating their implications on go-to-market strategies. Translate findings into strategic recommendations to enhance market positioning.
- Shape the future business portfolio through in-depth global market analysis to identify unmet opportunities in differentiated markets, while stimulating growth with existing product portfolios.
- Proactively seek out new data sources that will improve decision making & forecast accuracy, while demonstrating a commitment to continuous process improvement and innovation.
- Proven track record of supporting and developing business strategies and the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise presentations, facilitating informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
- Proactively providing fact-based insights and analytics to address specific business needs.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of market insights including quarterly market and share reporting and long-range financial planning initiatives.
- Proven track record of successfully fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment on projects, resulting in streamlined workflows, improved communication, and timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a BS or BA Degree is required. An MBA or MS Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data science, statistics, information systems, decision science, finance, business analytics and forecasting, or a related field is required.
- Proven track record of analyzing quantitative & qualitative data (internal & external), extracting insights, synthesize findings and validate research hypotheses with a disciplined approach to problem solving.
- Ability to produce visualizations, develop effective presentations, and tell a story with actionable recommendations that are backed with data.
- Ability to understand, translate, and integrate marketplace data, competitive intelligence, primary and secondary market research to drive the decision-making process.
- Experience in business development, business planning, or business strategy is preferred.
- Experience in the medical device, hospital specialty, or healthcare field is preferred.
- Proven track record of working in a global environment where a high degree of collaboration and influence is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications is required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
- Location availability in Raritan, NJ, Cincinnati, OH is required.
- Up to 15% travel may be required.

- Python, R, SQL, PowerBI & Tableau

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$77,000- $124,200Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
