This position is focused on the support, maintenance, and testing of data processing automations and data exchange interfaces. The AIM Data Support Analyst will participate lifecycle support activities involving the internal and external exchange of aeronautical and business process data. The AIM Data Support Analyst will support the operational units in the analysis and troubleshooting of data extraction and processing configurations. The position will require working independently and as part of a team composed of internal and external contributors.Job Description

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide response to, and resolve, business inquires, and technical issues related to the processing, import, export, exchange, and management of aeronautical data for production units and stakeholders.
- Participate in gathering and documenting business requirements; authoring and executing test cases; liaise with change and project teams engaged in the design/development/deployment and/or maintenance of application solutions/system.
- Conduct analysis, data modeling, source-target data mappings, and statistical analysis to extract meaningful information from data.
- Generate reports and visual representations to effectively communicate findings.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on data and related software and tools.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and offer expertise in the analysis and utilization of aeronautical data and business process data.
- Collaborate with team members and requestors to understand their specific requirements and provide solutions within defined timelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to relevant processes, including data collection methods, quality control procedures, and metadata standards.
- Create and maintain user guides and relevant documentation specific to aeronautical data processing scripts and automation tools to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing while ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation is available for reference.
- Develop instructional materials to facilitate the effective use of these tools and document workflows, functionalities, and troubleshooting steps.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, data science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in Data Analysis or related field.
- Experience using various automation and data processing tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, FME Flow/Form, Python, etc.).
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of software configuration management processes, practices, tools and techniques, UML and processing XML based data processing and schemas.
- Knowledge of aeronautical and geographical data models, exchange formats and protocols, data governance principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of aeronautical information services and products, aviation, and an understanding of airspace structure, airways and navigational systems.
- Knowledge of aeronautical and geospatial data domains and underlying technologies, spatial databases and applications.
- Knowledge of systems analysis and design, database design, data mapping, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity is with data quality, data steward and master data management methodologies and technologies.
Abilities:
- Ability to detect, analyze and correct system deficiencies and make recommendations for new actions/process improvements.
- Ability in software/solution lifecycle management and testing.
- Ability to generate reports and visual representations to effectively communicate findings.
- Ability to participate in departmental, functional, or cross-functional and national aeronautical data related activities, projects, and studies related to specific client requests.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Technology and Operations teams and other stakeholders to maintain existing interfaces and support the implementation of client requests.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain data processing routines using COTS software (e.g., FME Flow/Form, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks, improve data processing workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.

Working conditions:
- Travel may be required on occasion.
