You will be instrumental in building and managing our database management systems, utilizing your technical expertise to design, develop, analyze, and install these systems. Your role will encompass database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata, and repository creation, as well as configuration management.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or co-lead moderately complex projects, effectively managing time and resources.
  • Resolve moderately complex problems independently, developing new options guided by policies in non-standard situations.
  • Work independently on assignments, seeking guidance on unusual or complex problems from BUs
  • Collaborate with enabling functions to enhance Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities.
  • Engage with business, Digital stakeholders, and partners/vendors to capture and translate key requirements into projects aligned with Pfizer's standards.
  • Maintain strong customer engagement with key stakeholders and support teams in leveraging the knowledge graph for various tasks, while defining data quality rules and improving taxonomy change management processes.
  • Data Management: Clean, gather, and mine large datasets to ensure high data quality and reliability.

  • Data Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to present data insights effectively.

  • Advanced Analytics: Perform text and geospatial analysis to support marketing strategies and operations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

  • Tool Utilization: Leverage advanced tools such as Snowflake, R, Python, SQL, and Dataiku DSS to perform comprehensive data analysis and modeling.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • -Experience: 5-6 years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably within a commercial or marketing context.

  • Technical Skills: 

     - Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.

     - Strong experience with Snowflake for data warehousing.

     - Advanced knowledge of R and Python for statistical analysis and machine learning.

     - Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.

     - Experience with Dataiku DSS for data preparation, analysis, and deployment.

  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform text analysis and geospatial analysis.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code, automation scripts, run book workflows, frameworks

  • Demonstrated the successful adaptation of data quality standards in a previous work experience

  • Hands on experience working with DevOps tools

  • Experience working with compliance domains

  • Ability to architect and design data models and solutions

  • Innovative with changing business requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Master's degree with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in commercial or sales and marketing roles.
  • Experience in management consulting
  • Innovative in response to changing business requirements
  • Proven expertise in compliance domains, with the ability to architect and design data models and solutions
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and machine learning products from leading public providers
