Position Overview:

Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) is seeking a Lead Generative AI Product Evangelist – Digital Aviation Solutions with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development, including over 8 years in AI/ML development. The ideal candidate will drive the adoption of generative AI technologies across Digital Aviation Solutions, promoting and advocating the power of generative AI in revolutionizing aviation operations, safety, and customer experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• AI Product Evangelism: Lead the promotion of generative AI technologies within the aviation domain by developing proof-of-concept solutions and stakeholder/customer-facing demos.

• Collaboration & Thought Leadership: Partner with internal teams, including product owners, engineers, and AI researchers, to design and develop innovative AI solutions.

• Content Creation & Knowledge Sharing: Create compelling technical content, including workshops, blogs, whitepapers, demos, and training materials to educate aviation professionals on the use of generative AI.

• AI-Driven Use Cases & Prototypes: Work with engineering teams to create and prototype AI-driven applications and tools that showcase the practical use of generative AI in aviation.

• Feedback & Insights Gathering: Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine AI solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

Generative AI Strategy & Advocacy

• Drive the strategic adoption of generative AI within aviation, advocating its potential to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and customer experience.

AI Solution Evangelism

• Create a portfolio of compelling AI solutions, prototypes, and demos that align with business goals and showcase the advantages of AI technology in aviation operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work alongside product managers, AI engineers, and developers to translate the business value of generative AI into technical solutions.

Customer Education & Enablement

• Develop and lead workshops, webinars, and other engagement strategies to empower customers with the knowledge needed to implement generative AI technologies.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) or higher is REQUIRED.

• 10+ years of experience in software development, including over 8 years in AI/ML development with a focus on Generative AI technologies.

• Strong proficiency in Python and full-stack development, with hands-on experience in developing AI/ML applications.

• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.

• Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end workflows for generative models. Must have experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), , prompt engineering and fine-tuning pre-trained models is essential. The candidate should also be adept at creating data pipelines, evaluating model performance using relevant metrics and addressing ethical considerations in AI.

• Familiarity with deployment strategies and workflow orchestration tools is a plus.

• Extensive experience developing, optimizing, and deploying generative AI models  or other deep learning models.

• Experience or expertise in utilizing advanced platforms and frameworks for data science and machine learning, including Dataiku, Databricks for scalable data engineering and analytics.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging technical presentations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience or strong interest in the aviation industry, particularly in areas such as Geospatial Data and Aviation Data Integration is a plus.

• Experience with AI-driven geospatial analysis and working with aviation-specific datasets is a plus.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards within aviation is a plus.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 11+ years of relevant work experience. Master's degree with 10+ years' experience
