Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist to support a team responsible for developing, integrating,  and maintaining the NRO’s Clairvoyant Framework on Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret SCI  domains, including development, test, and operational environments. This role focuses on  developing and optimizing advanced analytics and machine learning models within this framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, building, and implementing data-driven applications, algorithms, and machine learning models within the Clairvoyant Framework's operational and R&D environments. 
  • Utilizing the Integrated Data Platform (IDP) and Integrated Data Layer (IDL) for comprehensive data access, exploitation, and integration,  applying data modeling principles and expertise with tools such as AWS SageMaker and  the Multi-INT Makerspace (M2). 
  • Collaborating with ML Operations and Development teams to transition analytical models from prototyping and test environments to secure,  production-ready systems, ensuring efficient hosting configurations.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving data analytic capabilities and contributing to the adoption of new technologies and methods to foster  intelligence integration and discovery across organizational boundaries.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or  a related technical field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering,  or developing advanced analytics solutions.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch,  scikit-learn
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data science (e.g.,  Python, R)  
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services,  including AWS SageMaker. 
  • Familiarity with big data processing and data manipulation techniques  o Understanding of data architecture principles, including modularity and loose  coupling for data stores.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment, participating in  sprint/release planning. 
  • US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a successfully completed Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amazon SC2S and C2S environments. 
  • Prior experience supporting NRO or other Intelligence Community (IC) missions. • Experience contributing to or publishing developed algorithms or analytical solutions to  common repositories. 
  • Participation in IC activities to improve and advance data science and analytics tools and  processes. 
  • Knowledge of specific IC or DoD security standards and directives (e.g., ICD 503, NIST  SP 800 series) as they apply to data and analytics. 

This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $210,000.00, commensurate on Clearance, technical skillset and overall experience.    We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.
