With Walmart eCommerce, you will redefine the future of shopping and create innovative solutions alongside supportive teammates while influencing millions of shoppers daily. Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer service. Marketplace is an integral part of Walmart’s growth strategy and fast-paced innovation is embedded into every aspect of what we are building.

We are seeking a Senior Manager who excels at using complex data to guide our leadership and cross-functional teams in making informed decisions, measuring success, and driving business growth. In this high-impact role, you will lead the development of a holistic performance analytics strategy and execute a comprehensive analytics roadmap by leveraging advanced data tools (e.g., SQL, Hive, Hadoop, GCP, Adobe Analytics, VisualIQ, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

As a senior leader within the analytics function, you will partner closely with Director and Sr. Director-level stakeholders across Business, Product, Technology, and Data Science to deliver actionable insights that shape Walmart’s evolving international Marketplace. This position is ideal for a strategic, technically adept, and business-savvy analytics leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You’ll Make an Impact By:

  • Leading the analytics strategy for the Marketplace business (3rd Party Sellers), enabling data-driven decision-making across product and business initiatives

  • Owning key analytical workstreams across multiple projects and priorities in a complex, fast-moving business environment

  • Developing and delivering a roadmap of in-depth analytics that aligns with strategic goals and uncovers business opportunities and risks

  • Guiding the creation of robust performance frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs to measure and optimize business and product success

  • Partnering with cross-functional leaders to define success metrics, develop A/B testing strategies, and provide scalable, automated reporting solutions

  • Leading cross-border eCommerce analytics by shaping insights that support the enablement of global seller inbound and export capabilities

  • Driving alignment across analytics, product, and data science teams, ensuring the development and deployment of scalable, insightful data products

  • Elevating data literacy and insights storytelling across the broader organization, influencing key decisions at the leadership level

  • Championing innovation in analytics tooling and techniques, while maintaining high standards of data governance and quality

You’ll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If You:

  • Are a compelling data storyteller who connects insights to business impact

  • Have a strong track record of building analytics capabilities and roadmaps at scale

  • Operate with a high degree of ownership, autonomy, and executive presence

  • Excel at driving strategic conversations with senior stakeholders

  • Bring depth in statistical analysis, experimentation design, and behavioral analytics

  • Are adept at cloud-based analytics platforms and modern data toolsets (e.g., GCP, Hive, Python, SQL, Tableau, R Shiny)

  • Thrive in ambiguity and fast-changing environments, with a curiosity to uncover answers and a bias for action

  • Demonstrate success in leading complex cross-functional initiatives across business, product, and data organizations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles, with demonstrated leadership in project ownership and stakeholder management

  • Proven ability to lead strategic analytics efforts and deliver insights that drive business impact

  • Exceptional communication skills and executive-level presentation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related technical field
