What is this role about?

• Collaborating with Data Analysts, Data Scientists and other functions to integrate our data-producing systems for complete pipelines and identify problems and opportunities in our data pipelines and modelling
• Architecting and implementing data models, finding solutions for identified problems and opportunities
• Modeling data from different sources within our Data Warehouse
• Writing easy-to-read, maintainable code that conforms to internal standards, and best practices and helping your team members to do the same by performing code reviews
• Managing and optimizing our dbt platform and data pipelines
• Maintaining and improving our Data Catalog and our Data offering to stakeholders
• Performing any other tasks arising from the nature of the work or general flow of work.

This role is located in our Tallinn or Tartu office.

What would ensure success in this role?

• Be fluent in SQL
• Strong working experience with dbt 
• Have experience in data transformations and modeling using SQL, Python, dbt, etc., and building reporting layers for BI tools.
• Be familiar with version control systems like GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.
• Have data visualization experience with tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
• Understand methodologies to build a data warehouse, including Kimball, Data Vault, OBT.
• Have experience using cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake), which is advantageous.
• Be able to work independently and make decisions autonomously.
• Embrace a strong team player mentality, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
