THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are looking for a Data Product Manager to join our Data Products team focused on Artificial Intelligence. This role will be at the forefront of building and scaling FanDuel's AI capabilities across domains like personalization, automation, and platform intelligence. You’ll work with engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers to build the next generation of AI-infused tools and services, from LLM-powered agents to developer productivity accelerators.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Drive the product roadmap for generative AI capabilities across FanDuel products, including Sportsbook, Casino, and beyond
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to build next-gen features powered by LLMs, agents, and embeddings — delivering value to customers across the FanDuel ecosystem
  • Lead the development of internal AI tools that improve productivity, support, data access, and security — accelerating how we build, support, and operate our platforms
  • Cultivate a culture and working model around AI tooling within the company — empowering teams to design, test, and integrate AI responsibly
  • Design and ship AI-powered experiences in real production environments, working closely with stakeholders in design, compliance, legal, and engineering
  • Own the full lifecycle of AI features, from ideation to integration — scoping API usage, fine-tuning requirements, user experience, and evaluation metrics
  • Build deep knowledge of AI platforms including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and Databricks AI tooling — and integrate them through APIs and services
  • Work with emerging AI tools and IDEs like Windsurf, Cursor, and Copilot to improve the developer experience and automate repetitive workflows
  • Understand and drive agentic AI workflows (tool use, long-term memory, function calling, context management) and apply them to real-world use cases
  • Stay ahead of fast-moving AI trends and help evaluate new models, capabilities, and vendors for enterprise use

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 4–8 years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on platform, data, or developer tools preferred
  • Hands-on familiarity with generative AI platforms such as OpenAI (Chat Completions, Assistants API), Claude, Amazon Bedrock, or similar
  • Experience working with API-based AI services and integrating AI into real products — either customer-facing or internal tooling
  • Understanding of agent workflows (function calling, tool use, vector search, memory) and how to turn them into reliable product experiences
  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL — enough to prototype, validate, and partner effectively with engineers
  • Passion for enabling others — building tools, documentation, and examples that make AI approachable and useful across the company
  • Exposure to modern AI development environments like Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar IDEs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, prioritize tradeoffs, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-moving technology — with a bias toward execution and iteration
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles and infrastructure tools, particularly as they relate to powering AI applications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) or relevant practical experience is preferred.
