Position Overview

Join our BI & Analytics Solutions team as a Sr SAP BW/BI Developer, playing a pivotal role in the seamless operation of Lean Tech's business. This senior position is an integral part of our team, focusing on the development, integration, data governance, and reporting solutions across key business sectors including Supply Chain, Sales, and Distribution. Your expertise in SAP BW4HANA, Native HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud will be crucial in translating business needs into high-level data architectures, developing robust reporting and analytics solutions, and engaging with stakeholders to drive operational excellence. This role, based full-time in Santa Monica, CA, offers the opportunity to impact a dynamic, global brand, with the challenge of working at the forefront of data analytics and business intelligence.

What You Will Be Doing

• Gain an in-depth understanding of Red Bull's systems and business operations to effectively gather and refine requirements.
• Collaborate with business teams to craft Business Scope Statements and define KPIs and use cases.
• Translate Business Scope Statements into high-level data models and design data structures for transactional and master data.
• Present and review architectural designs with relevant teams to ensure alignment and feasibility.
• Identify data sources, design ADSOs, composite providers, and ETL processes, ensuring performance optimization.
• Develop and test Bex queries with an emphasis on incorporating key figures, structures, and configurations.
• Implement ETL processes in BW4HANA and HANA Studio, coordinating user acceptance testing to refine solutions.
• Leverage tools like Bex, SAP Analysis for Microsoft, and SAP Analytics Cloud to build robust reporting and analytics solutions that aid in business decision-making.
• Support and guide business functions in data exploration to identify actionable insights.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP BW development with strong proficiency in BW4HANA.
• Advanced expertise in SQL and AMDP.
• Intermediate experience with Native HANA.
• Intermediate skills utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Microsoft for reporting and analytics solutions.
• Practical knowledge and experience with SAP Data Intelligence.
• Proficient in ABAP for data source enhancements, routines, variable exits, and debugging.
• Experience in producing detailed design documents of medium to high complexity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding during the first year.
