About the role

As a Senior Product Analyst, Data Governance you will spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a global data governance framework within the IT Data & Analytics organization—extending our capabilities to modern AI and machine learning systems. You’ll partner closely with business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure our critical data assets and AI models are accurate, secure, explainable, and aligned with ethical and compliance standards. Your strategic vision will drive a data-driven, AI-enabled culture at Mead Johnson Nutrition, empowering decision-makers with trusted data and responsible AI solutions

Your responsibilities

Framework & Policy Development

  • Define, document, and enforce enterprise-wide data governance and AI governance 
    policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of our DART-based governance 
    framework to support master data management, data lineage, metadata management, and 
    AI model lifecycle governance.


AI Model Risk & Quality Management

  • Establish processes for AI model risk assessment, bias detection, and fairness monitoring.
  • Implement continuous monitoring and validation of production AI models to detect drift, 
    ensure performance, and uphold ethical guidelines.


Data Quality & Compliance

  • Oversee data quality initiatives: design monitoring metrics, identify issues, and drive 
    remediations to ensure consistency and reliability in both traditional data pipelines and ML 
    feature stores.
  • Conduct privacy, regulatory, and ethical assessments (GDPR, HIPAA, AI Act, etc.) and 
    partner with legal/compliance to maintain adherence.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

  • Oversee data quality initiatives: design monitoring metrics, identify issues, and drive 
    remediations to ensure consistency and reliability in both traditional data pipelines and ML 
    feature stores.
  • Conduct privacy, regulatory, and ethical assessments (GDPR, HIPAA, AI Act, etc.) and 
    partner with legal/compliance to maintain adherence.


Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Oversee data quality initiatives: design monitoring metrics, identify issues, and drive 
    remediations to ensure consistency and reliability in both traditional data pipelines and ML 
    feature stores.
  • Conduct privacy, regulatory, and ethical assessments (GDPR, HIPAA, AI Act, etc.) and 
    partner with legal/compliance to maintain adherence.

The experience we're looking for

  • 5-7 years of experience in data governance, master data management, or related roles, with demonstrable experience extending governance into AI/ML systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with data governance and AI governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, MLflow Model Registry, WhyLabs) and familiarity with Data Governance Frameworks and tools implementation.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy laws, regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, EU AI Act), and AI ethics guidelines (fairness, transparency, explainability).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing data governance and AI governance strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with experience leading governance steering committees.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to articulate complex governance and AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or equivalent certifications; additional certifications in AI governance (e.g., IEEE Certified AI Ethics Professional) are a plus

US salary ranges

USD $109,000.00 -  $163,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
