As a Data Analyst, you’ll work on a variety of customer-focused data projects, driving impactful insights and solutions. This is a remote position based in Spain.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

  • Connecting data sources – Establish and manage reliable connections to a variety of internal and external data sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Transforming and preparing data – Use SQL, Power Query, and other tools to clean, blend, and structure data for reporting and analysis.
  • Designing dashboards & reports – Build intuitive, visually compelling dashboards in Power BI that surface key metrics and performance trends for a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Analyzing trends & patterns – Drill into datasets to uncover drivers, anomalies, and opportunities that inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Presenting insights – Communicate complex findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences through presentations, reports, and live demo sessions.
  • Partnering with the business – Collaborate closely with product, operations, and commercial teams to translate business questions into analytic deliverables.
  • Occasional travel within Spain and across Europe to participate in workshops and meetings, fostering collaboration and aligning data initiatives with broader company goals. 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • ~1 year of experience (including internships) in a Data Analyst or similar role, working with real‑world datasets.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating relational databases.
  • Hands‑on Power BI experience creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Experience with DAX and Power Query) to build effective analytical solutions.
  • Foundational statistical knowledge (e.g., distributions, hypothesis testing) and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain data insights clearly.

It would be great if you have:

  • Proficiency with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of data storytelling and visualization best practices.
