This team supports the Data Marketplace, Fitch's platform for data discovery and access, fostering data innovation across the firm. The role involves direct data analysis, user support, and collaboration across departments, helping teams effectively use the Marketplace for data discovery and innovation within a federated architecture based on data mesh principles.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Marketplace users, triaging and managing incoming requests, and ensuring timely, high-quality support
  • Collaborate directly with business users to understand their goals and provide practical guidance on how to use data available in the Marketplace
  • Analyze and prepare datasets to support business use cases, particularly for teams without in-house data expertise
  • Lead demos, conduct training sessions, and create self-serve materials to help users onboard and adopt Marketplace capabilities
  • Translate technical information into clear, actionable guidance tailored for non-technical audiences
  • Identify recurring needs and feedback themes to inform product improvement and scale support processes
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base content to drive transparency and ease of use

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in SQL for writing reports and performing data wrangling; familiarity with Python and BI tools is also beneficial
  • 5+ years of experience working with complex data problems
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to simplify complex data topics for a business audience
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under time pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and follow-through
  • Bachelor’s degree in a data-related or business discipline preferred

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience supporting data platforms, BI tools, or data products
  • Experience working with data in financial services, especially credit markets
  • Prior success in a data enablement or consulting role
  • Familiarity with Jira

Why Choose Fitch:
