The Opportunity:
 CACI is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our team supporting the NASA NCAPS (NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services) program. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making platforms and processes for NASA's Data and Analytic  Services, Data Governance & Stewardship organizations.

Responsibilities:
• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to NASA's IT infrastructure and services

• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data models

• Create visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support operational improvements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support

• Assist in the development of data-driven strategies to optimize NASA's IT services

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various systems

• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in data analysis and visualization

• Collaborate closely with NASA stakeholders to understand specific mission requirements and data needs

• Ensure data solutions meet NASA's stringent security and compliance standards

• Support scalable data architectures to handle large volumes of scientific and mission-critical data

• Participate actively in Agile project methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Qualifications:
Required: 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in IT services or government contracting

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Documents/Reports:

• Excellent written communication skills for composing professional emails

• Experience in creating and maintaining various reports within an Agile framework:

  • Daily status updates for stand-ups
  • Sprint progress reports
  • Monthly performance summaries
  • Quarterly analytical reviews aligned with project milestones
  • Proficiency in generating and interpreting Jira reports for sprint tracking and backlog management
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting in support of Agile project goals


Desired:

• Understanding of NASA's data policies and procedures is a plus

• Experience with scalable data architectures and handling large datasets

• Proficiency in project management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their practical application in data analysis projects

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
