Job Description & Summary: - We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant – SQL Developer / Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SQL development, data modeling, ETL pipeline design, and data integration, with a strong focus on performance optimization and scalable architecture. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions that enable analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. -Build, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines to support data ingestion from multiple sources. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements. -Create and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and technical documentation. -Ensure data integrity, security, and quality across systems. -Tune SQL queries for performance and scalability. -Develop and implement data validation and quality checks. -Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. -Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Mandatory skill sets:

-Strong experience in SQL development (preferably on platforms like MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) -Proficient in building and maintaining ETL processes using tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, or custom scripts (Python/Scala). -Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and relational databases. -Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory).

Preferred skill sets:

Experience working with cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus. -Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD processes. -Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Years of experience required:

-4 to 8 years' experience in Data Engineer. -Strong experience in SQL development (preferably on platforms like MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

Education qualification:

-Ph.D/ M.Sc. / M.Stat/ MS (Statistics / Mathematics/ Economics/ Computer Science or ML/DL focus) -B.Tech / M.Tech (Computer Science, Mathematics & Scientific Computing etc.) -MBA with ML/DL Focus.
