About the Role:

The Lexis + AI Content Platform team is currently hiring data scientists and data engineers to support their content automation initiatives. The team focuses on leveraging GNI automation to provide content automation across various types, including cases, legislation, and signal APGs. 

Responsibilities:

   - Research capabilities and limitations of emerging AI technologies (such as multimodal large language models, generative AI, etc.) and evaluate their feasibility in business scenarios.  

   - Design and implement proof of concept (PoC) experiments to explore innovative solutions.  

   - Develop rapid prototypes based on business requirements to validate the effectiveness of technical solutions.  

   - Optimize model performance to enhance the flexibility and scalability of solutions.  

   - Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to drive implementation and delivery of technical solutions.  

   - Provide technical guidance and support to team members and partners.  

   - Write technical documentation, patent applications, and academic publications to enhance the team's technical influence.  

   - Share research findings internally and externally to promote technical innovation.  

Requirements:

   - Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.  

   - Deep understanding of machine learning algorithm principles and applications, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.

   - Familiarity with deep learning architectures (CNN, RNN, Transformers, etc.) and their applications in NLP and computer vision.

   - Practical experience with large language models (LLMs), including model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and in-context learning.

   - Understanding of multimodal AI models (such as GPT-4, Claude 3.7), their working principles and application limitations.

   - Proficiency in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture and knowledge base construction methods.

      - Solid foundation in statistics, familiarity with probability theory, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design methodologies.

   - Ability to design and execute A/B tests, perform data sampling, and evaluate effectiveness.

   - Mastery of multivariate analysis, dimensionality reduction and feature extraction.

   - Familiarity with Bayesian statistics and inference methods, ability to build statistical models for complex data analysis.

   - Capability in anomaly detection and time series analysis to discover patterns and trends in data.

      - Proficiency in Python and related scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy).

   - Skilled in using at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow) for model development.

   - Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and cloud platform services.

   - Familiarity with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, etc.).

   - Ability to process unstructured data (text, images) and familiarity with relevant preprocessing techniques.

   - Experience in AI technology research or prototype development, capable of independently completing the entire process from problem definition to solution validation.  

   - Priority given to those with experience in processing complex documents (such as PDF parsing, table recognition, text extraction) or knowledge base management.

   - Experience in transforming research outcomes into usable prototypes.

   - Strong communication and teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating with multiple parties to complete projects.  

   - Innovative thinking, ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.

   - Good project management skills, ability to drive project progress with limited resources.
