A Day in the Life:

• Maintaining data integrity across platforms through audits, quality checks, and governance practices
• Identifying and resolving data anomalies, outliers, and inconsistencies in real time
• Documenting and improving data processes and lineage in collaboration with analytics and engineering teams
• Building visualizations and dashboards using best practices to surface actionable insights
• Automating routine data cleansing using Python (Pandas, APIs) and SQL (window functions, joins)
• Supporting the architecture and configuration of Smartsheet, Excel workflows, and associated automations
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align on data needs and maintain compliance with privacy and security policies
• Troubleshooting data issues by tracking dependencies across automations, cell links, and scripts
• Partnering with the central analytics team to evolve pipeline structure and enable scalable reporting

What it takes:

• 5+ years in a data analytics or data management role
• Advanced experience with Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms for automation and data mesh
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins and window functions
• Proficiency in Python, especially data wrangling with Pandas
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and Lambda
• Hands-on data visualization experience (Amazon Quicksight preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting complex data dependencies with limited context
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet SDK and API-based data integration
• Familiarity with VSCode, DataGrip, or other developer IDEs
• Strong grasp of visual storytelling and dashboard design principles
