Senior Manager, Data Analytics

Position Overview: We seek a motivated Data Analytics Manager to oversee our global analytics team. This role leads a team of data analysts, delivering business insights and analytics solutions aligned with strategic goals. Responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration, dashboard development, data visualization, and project management. Strong leadership, technical expertise in BI tools and SQL, and effective communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor data analysts to deliver business insights and analytics solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical approaches
• Drive analytics roadmap development aligned with business objectives
• Oversee dashboard, report, and analytical tool delivery
• Establish data analysis, visualization, and reporting best practices
• Communicate analytical findings to all stakeholder levels
• Bridge technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet needs
• Manage resource allocation, timelines, and project prioritization
• Collaborate with business units to implement value-driving analytics solutions
• Work with Data Science and Engineering teams to align projects and communicate data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with at least 4 years in a management role
• Strong understanding of data analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Team leadership experience delivering data-driven solutions
• Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Databricks Dashboards, Power BI)
• Working knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques
• Working knowledge with data analysis libraries such as pandas, numpy, dask, polars, matplotlib/seaborn, dplyr, ggplot, for data manipulation and analysis
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to align analytics initiatives with business strategy and drive measurable outcomes
• Experience in data storytelling and creating compelling narratives from complex analyses

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in agriculture, chemical manufacturing, or related industries
• Proficiency with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP, Databricks) and their integration with data workflows
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and their application to analytics project management
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience integrating data feeds into business intelligence solutions
• Background in change management and driving adoption of data-driven approaches
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and ethical data use practices
• Experience managing technical debt and maintaining sustainable analytics solutions
