Are you looking for a place to use your data and analytics skills to improve people’s lives? As the Senior Analyst on the Data Analytics team, you will be responsible for supporting multiple areas of analytics and insights with a focus on metrics across Finance, HR and Ops that enable the ability to track, measure, and eventually predict outcomes.
This role is 100% remote
Responsibilities:
• Extract, transform, and analyze complex operational data using Snowflake and advanced SQL in a healthcare environment.
• Design and maintain scalable data models with data transformation tools such as DBT or similar platforms (e.g., Dataform, Matillion, Apache Airflow), ensuring workflows are efficient, reliable, and well-documented.
• Build and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI (or comparable BI tools) to provide clear, actionable insights for healthcare operations.
• Identify trends, root causes, and patterns in operational performance to support process improvement and informed decision-making.
• Monitor healthcare KPIs and business metrics, surfacing opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and outcomes.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests, using automation and centralized processes to enhance speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to understand analytics needs and deliver impactful recommendations.
• Promote best practices in data governance, data quality, and analytics across teams.
• Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and data-driven improvement.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting strategy and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Master’s preferred: health informatics, public health, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or data science).
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or operations analytics.
• Experience working with healthcare data or in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Expert proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred).
• Hands-on experience with DBT or similar data modeling and transformation tools (e.g., Dataform, Matillion, Apache Airflow).
• Advanced skills in Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboard and report development.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, drive projects to completion, and mentor other analysts.
Other Requirements:
• Travel as needed (10% - 20%)
