MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office

THE POSITION:

We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is part-qualified or early in their professional studies (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA), and who has gained solid foundational experience in Accounts Payable or as an Assistant Accountant. You’ll play a key role in supporting month-end processes, financial reporting, and business partnering, while continuing to develop your technical and analytical skills in a supportive environment.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative finance team, with exposure to a wide range of accounting processes and business functions across Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Accounting:

• Prepare and post the monthly accruals and prepayments for overheads, marketing, freight costs and goods in transit.
• Maintain accurate accounting for tangible and intangible assets
• Calculate and post intercompany transactions and complete reconciliations
• Conduct OpEx reviews including A vs B analysis
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial statements

• Play a key role in preparing quarterly reports, gaining hands-on experience with DIVA submissions.

Marketing Finance Support

• Manage accounting entries related to marketing spend
• Deliver reporting and analysis to support marketing effectiveness
• Act as a business partner to the Marketing team, providing financial insight and guidance

Operational Finance

• Manage the REG Finance mailbox, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution
• Help maintain the accounting system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Post adhoc journals and support with reporting requirements as requested by the line manager, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
• Act as a team engager for the company intranet, promoting finance updates and engagement
• Assist with the year-end process, internal and external audits

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

• Experience in an Accounts Payable, Assistant Accountant, or similar finance role

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems

• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Previous exposure to month-end processes and reconciliations

• Experience working in multi-currency environments is advantageous.
