Nasdaq's Generative AI Development Team is seeking a highly skilled UI developer to create and maintain the web interface for Nasdaq's Generative AI applications. This role is crucial in ensuring our cutting-edge AI solutions have intuitive, efficient, and responsive user interfaces.

Business Unit

Nasdaq's Global Technology (GT) team is committed to creating and supporting solutions that power more than 115 of the world’s market infrastructure organizations and market participants, including US markets, broker-dealers, exchanges, clearinghouses, central securities depositories and regulators, in over 50 countries with end-to-end, mission-critical technology solutions. These solutions entail managing and mitigating risk, enhancing integrity, and protecting reputations with trade surveillance, behavioral analytics and risk management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and Typescript
• Work with our backend engineers to integrate API changes into our web application
• Collaborate with our design team to bring their mockups to life
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Implement and maintain quality assurance tests
• Optimize our application performance for maximum speed and scalability

You must have:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A strong interest in the Generative AI space
• Around 3 years of experience with JavaScript
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Experience with CSS Frameworks
• Familiarity with Git and typical developmental workflows
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling async operations

Nice to have:

• Experience using React
• Experience using TypeScript
• Experience using Tailwind CSS
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their applications in user interfaces
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Knowledge of testing frameworks for front end applications
• Understanding of web accessibility standards

Monthly base salary 3500-3900 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.

What happens now?

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.
