This role is accountable to the Price and Performance Lipper team, which plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, independent fund content and analytics to the global investment community. With a strong emphasis on customer collaboration, the team supports report migration, resolves data integrity issues, and ensures the accurate and timely processing of financial data. Working closely with Client Success Managers, product management, and internal stakeholders, they document customer use cases, streamline operations, and enhance the overall client experience. Leveraging deep financial expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement, the team drives innovation and operational efficiency across Lipper’s suite of investment management solutions
We are seeking a diligent professional with Japanese language proficiency with an understanding of financial instruments, specifically funds, to join our team. The candidate will be a key player in delivering data accuracy, resolving client cases, and handling financial content sourcing, collection, and curation. This position also requires the ability to collaborate across internal and external parties. An applicant should have an open mind toward using AI-powered tools or learning about AI applications in financial data processes. A willingness to explore and adapt to new technologies will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Japanese language skills and market knowledge to deliver on customer and business requirements.
- Support the resolution of client cases by addressing data integrity issues, missing data, and other related challenges.
- Process financial data efficiently and accurately, using tools and expertise in financial markets.
- Source, collect, and curate financial content from approved sources, ensuring compliance with collection policies.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with relevant partners to improve data sourcing and collection.
- Maintain high standards of quality, adhering to established metrics and prioritizing tasks based on business and customer needs.
- Participate in assigned projects, meeting or exceeding defined critical metrics.
- Identify and propose process improvements to optimize efficiency and overall customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience in Languages and / or Financial Markets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfort with AI tools or a willingness to learn about AI-driven processes is a plus.
