Synechron is seeking a proficient SSIS Developer to craft, implement, and sustain reliable data integration solutions. The role is central to supporting our data-driven initiatives by designing ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, and managing complex data environments. This position contributes to the organization’s strategic goal of leveraging data assets effectively to enhance decision-making processes and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will bring experience in SSIS, SQL, and Actimize, working collaboratively across teams.

Software Requirements
Required:
- SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) for development and management of SSIS packages
- Microsoft SQL Server (version 2016 or later)
- Actimize (preferably Actimize AML or related modules) — hands-on experience in deployment and integration
- Data warehousing and ETL tools aligned with SQL Server environment
Preferred:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based ETL tools
- Knowledge of Power BI or SSRS for reporting purposes
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as T-SQL, Python, or PowerShell for automation
Overall Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to facilitate data migration, transformation, and loading
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and operations teams to understand data sources, quality standards, and business needs
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing SSIS packages, enhancing performance and reliability
- Perform data validation and analysis to verify data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems
- Document technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures
- Conduct performance tuning of SSIS packages, stored procedures, and database queries
- Stay informed of emerging data integration tools, best practices, and industry standards to enhance solutions

Programming Languages:
- Required: T-SQL for data querying and management
- Preferred: scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation and data manipulation
Databases/Data Management:
- Required: SQL Server (2016+) experience, relational database design, and data warehousing concepts
- Preferred: Knowledge of data modeling, data lakes, and cloud data stores (Azure, AWS)
Frameworks and Libraries:
- Required: SSIS package development, data transformation processes, and related tools

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, ETL development, or data warehousing projects
- Proven experience in designing and managing SSIS packages in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Actimize platform, especially around financial services or compliance data
- Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or technology sectors preferred but not mandatory
- Alternative pathways include related roles in data integration, BI development, or platform-specific ETL solutions
Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages for data ingestion, transformation, and loading
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflow performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and document processes
- Conduct data validation and integrity checks across multiple systems
- Maintain and update technical documentation for data workflows and operational procedures
- Perform performance tuning of packages, SQL queries, and database objects
- Join daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review sessions within Agile frameworks
- Support data governance and compliance initiatives by maintaining data quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
- Certification or hands-on experience with SQL Server and Actimize modules preferred
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on data integration and BI tools
