Summary of the position:
As Portfolio Data Analyst & Manager (m/f/d) in our Near Patient Care Operations organization you will ensure an efficient tracking, consolidation and analysis of portfolio data (e.g. capex financial figures, program ressources...). With the focus on capex investment projects for the production of our Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) device you will act as a central source of information. You will work closely in collaboration with our project management office team, finance and our planning organization. You will display complex data in an easy-to-understand way.
Main tasks of the position:
Data Management & Analytics
- Act as a central source of information for portfolio program data generated from capex projects or provided by the planning and finance team, to support program controlling, capex forecasts, target setting, etc.
- Efficient tracking, consolidation and analysis of portfolio data (e.g. capex financial figures) in close collaboration with capex projects, planning and finance
- Check and maintain the database for actuality, completeness and plausibility
- Providing data analysis to support capex investment decisions and portfolio planning
Capex-Reporting
- Portfolio-Reporting & Benchmarking: Independent provision of data and report on the capex program portfolio
- Independent support of the consolidation, preparation and monitoring of the necessary data for the target setting process in close cooperation with finance business partners
- Provision of evaluations and special reports and presentations (e.g. capex scenario considerations, steering committee slides)
- Continuous improvement of processes for calculation and prognosis management and implementation of processes, tools, systems, templates for portfolio data management
This is what you bring with you:
- Academic degree in natural sciences, IT, business administration, engineering or a related function
- Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
- In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in handling portfolio data and handling of IT tools (SAP, Google Suite, Spreadsheet, smart sheet, Monday, ...)
- Strong experience in project management (e.g. project leadership, project controls, project planning) and portfolio data management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication on different levels and the ability to address complex issues
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and to align divers interests towards a common goal
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry is a clear plus
- Fluent in English and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- Fluent in German is a plus (at least B2 level)
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and drive results
