What You’ll Do  

• Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML solutions to solve high-impact business challenges, particularly in the financial & insurance tech. 

• Build and enhance platform features using React, TypeScript, and Python, ensuring a seamless and intelligent user experience across platforms. 

• Leverage LLMs and Generative AI models to build large-scale, end-to-end AI solutions, including code generation, personalization, and automation capabilities. 

• Architect scalable, maintainable, and extensible systems that empower engineering teams to efficiently deliver high-quality products. 

• Develop cross-platform, production-grade solutions while learning and integrating new frameworks, tools, and technologies as needed. 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and research—to identify opportunities that help customers secure critical financial protection and feel confident in their choices. 
• Build and maintain internal AI tools and research platforms that boost productivity. 

• Lead and mentor junior engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and promote best practices in software craftsmanship and AI/ML engineering. 

• Architect enterprise-grade AI systems with a focus on quality, performance, and long-term maintainability. 

Core Technical Skills 

• Strong expertise in Python (and optionally TypeScript/JavaScript), with experience in frameworks like Django, FastAPI, and React for AI-enabled web applications. 

• Hands-on with LLM ecosystems including Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, LangSmith, and Langfuse. 

• Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and XG-Boost). 

• Exposure to ensemble learning methods (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM), probabilistic models, and ML system design. 

Infrastructure & Deployment 

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, serverless architectures, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). 

• Designing and managing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for AI services. 

• Proficient in deploying AI services using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). 

• Skilled in building and integrating real-time inference pipelines and RAG architectures. 

 Data & Vector Systems 

• Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, Chroma). 

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DBs. 

• Exposure to streaming data platforms and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka) is a plus. 

 Collaboration & Leadership 

• Work cross-functionally with ML researchers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver AI solutions. 

• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams using Git, Kanban, and modern development practices. 

• Effectively communicate complex AI concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Stay up to date with the latest AI research and contribute to open-source projects or internal AI research initiatives. 

 Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field. 

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in AI/ML development, ideally with ownership of production-level AI systems. 
• Proven experience at an AI-first company or contributions to AI/ML research or open-source projects are highly desirable.
