Job Description:

The Data Analyst will be work closely with leadership and internal teams across the organization to understand data requirements and individual needs.  The Data Analyst will identify optimal ways to retrieve data and deliver back to teams in a meaningful way through technical solutions.

Skilled SQL coder and data analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll dive deep into our data, working closely with internal teams and department leadership to understand what data is needed and how we can deliver it through technical solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.
  • Build and optimize database structures and schemas for performance and reliability.
  • Generate actionable insights through data analysis to support business decision-making processes.
  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings and trends.
  • Develop and maintain data automations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL (1+ year(s) of experience or certification) - at least 1 year of experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Python, JSON or other programming languages for data automations is preferred.
  • Experience in API development across various platforms and knowledge of PowerShell or other Microsoft technologies is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work remotely and maintain self-discipline and online presence.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • SQL or comparable data query coding certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred
