Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Data Governance Consultant that would like to collaborate with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies.
Data Governance Expert with experience in defining a Data Governance framework for Data Analytics Tools to ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of data used in Tableau and PowerBI platforms. The ideal candidate will work in the Data Management and Governance team, closely with IT Platform Architects, Tableau & PowerBI Product Owners, Collibra Product Owner, Data Protection Officer and Business Stakeholders to define and implement the Data Governance framework for Dashboards and Reports as Data Product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define a Data Governance Framework & Processes for Dashboards and Reports (system agnostic) in accordance with the overall Data Governance Framework & Processes defined in DataLand:
- Define how and what data assets must be catalogued. Metadata required, classification, etc.
- Define how Data Products for Dashboards and Reports look like, ownership, instances (offering/segmentations) good practices, restrictions, etc.
- Define how Data sharing/consumption works for this type of Data Products, Data Sharing Terms, etc.
- Ensure that the Data Governance Framework & Processes is compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, GxP) within the framework defined.
- Define functional requirements for Collibra, Tableau, PowerBI platforms to ensure their processes follow/respect the defined Data Governance Framework & Processes for Dashboards and Reports.
- Discuss and handover with Collibra, Tableau, PowerBI Product Owners and IT Platform Architects to implement the functional requirements that implement the Data Governance Framework & Processes in the analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Update current Data Governance standards accordingly.
- [Change management] Support & Train data analysts in adopting the new Data Governance Framework & Processes.
Experience / Knowledge
- 4+ years of experience in data governance, data management.
- Expertise on defining and deploying data governance frameworks and processes, metadata management, and compliance.
- Experience working with Data Governance and Data Analytics tools. Preferred: Collibra, Tableau and PowerBI.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
- Data Governance knowledge, especially understanding of data cataloging, data sharing and access management.
- Familiarity with Data Product, Data Domains concepts, especially in the context of dashboards and reports.
- Hands-on experience with some Data Governance tool (preferably Collibra) with connections to some Data Analytics tool (preferably Tableau and PowerBI).
- Ability to define functional requirements for these tools to support governance processes.
- Hybrid profile. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including technical stakeholders (IT Architects, Platform Product Owners) and business stakeholders (Data Protection Officers, Business Stakeholders).
- Ability to train and support data analysts in adopting the new Data Governance Framework & Processes.
- Languages: English (mandatory), Spanish (nice to have)
