The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $63,1114.00 to $82,250.00

*****Applicants must currently reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate to Arizona by the time of hire. *****Standard Judicial Branch business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This position may offer a hybrid (telework, remote) schedule, depending on the needs of the Judicial Branch.
The Judicial Branch is unable to provide visa sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa etc.).
The Data Management Analyst provides analytical and technical support to the Court Technology Services department on complex IT-related issues, metrics, special projects, reports, and recommended process improvements. This includes maintaining the quality and consistency of database information and providing technical support to other staff and serving as a liaison to other functional areas of the Judicial Branch.

Position Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field
Experience:
- Two (2) years of professional analytical experience with PowerBI and SSRS
OR
Combined education and experience qualifications:
- Other combinations of education and/or experience may be considered in substitution for minimum qualifications
Our Preferred Candidate has:
- An understanding of Judicial Branch structure and familiarity with the policies and procedures of the Judicial Branch
- Experience using SQL for data querying and management
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and SSRS
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Strong working knowledge of Power BIand SSRS for developing reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Knowledge of Fabric ETL concepts and experiences with ETL tools for scripting for data integration.
- Possess the understanding of basic statistics, trend analysis, and performance measurement indicators to support data driven decision making.
Skill in:
- Translating raw data into meaningful insights with attention to detail
- Problem solving and decision-making
- Organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks
- Microsoft Office suite
- Microsoft Excel advanced functions (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
Ability to:
- Extract information from multiple data sources to provide a comprehensive analysis
- Explain technical concepts in non-technical language
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Handle confidential or sensitive information in a tactful and responsible manner
- Work well under pressure and handle changing priorities or interruptions seamlessly.
- Use good judgment in applying and following established procedures.
- Work independently on complex assignments using discretion and judgment including time management to meet deadlines.
- Network and establish effective working relationships within the organization, County, and other agencies.
Essential Job Tasks

- Performs analysis of large and complex data sets; collects, compiles and processes data to prepare clear and comprehensive reports on a variety of metrics on a scheduled and an ad hoc basis
- Collaborates with subject matter experts across CTS and the organization to collect information and work on special initiatives
- Partners with department staff across the Judicial Branch to map and streamline processes and procedures
- Solicit customers throughout the branch for feedback and needs assessments
- Proactively applies analytical and research skills to monitor trends, elevate issues, and make recommendations to Branch leadership
- Collaborates with CTS leadership to create and maintain strategic portfolio artifacts
- Delivers high-quality analysis, reporting, and presentations orally and in a written format
- Queries data and responds to requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Conducts regular reviews of data and assists in data clean-up
- Assists in the development of business requirements, builds data models, and maintains dashboards and other data visualizations
- Manages special projects and initiatives aligned with CTS activities
- Participates in mentorship and cross-training opportunities with the Data Integrity and Analytics department

Typically, successful candidates are hired at a salary rate up to the midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County participates in the State Retirement systems ASRS or PSPRS. As such, mandatory membership for all full-time employees includes payroll deducted contributions consistent with each retirement system's requirements. The current contribution rate for ASRS is 12.27% and the current contribution rate for PSPRS is 5.84% and up for the defined contribution plan and 8.82% for the defined benefit plan. Judicial Branch facilities are located throughout Maricopa County. This position may be reassigned to other locations. Assignments will be made based upon the needs of the department.
