The research suport tech will join a multidisciplinary project team led by Ruben Moreno, director of the Theoretical and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, https://www.upf.edu/web/tcn, Center for Brain and Cognition, https://www.upf.edu/web/cbc,  Pompeu Fabra Univeristy.  The position is supported by PRESP05624 - PID2023-146524NB-I00/AEI/10.13039/50110001103

The main project goal is to investigate how the BD dilemma shapes decision-making and the underlying neuronal machinery.

Tasks to be performed:

The tasks are related to the specific project objectives:

Objective 1. Investigation of the dynamics of resource allocation over time.

Objective 2. Investigation of the neural basis of gaze-centered, memory-based decision making in non-human primates.

Objective 3. Investigation of the neural basis of consequential decision-making

Group and complement: Group 3 + Level U

Dedication and working hours: Part time (22.5.h/week).

Planned remuneration approx: 18.434,56 €  gross per year

Financing fund:PRESP05624 - PID2023-146524NB-I00/AEI/10.13039/50110001103 project that ends on 31/08/2027

Qualifications

Requirements:

●     Grau/ Bachelor degree.

●     Batxillerat-FP2/ High school-FP2. 

 The expected start date is  1 October  2025, the job is in Barcelona.

 The duration of these tasks is estimated over a period of 6 months.

 

The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.

1.    Formació Acadèmica/ Academic Training (0-40 punts/ points)

- Grau en ingenieria, física, matemática o similar

- Master en ingenieria, física, matemática o similar o similar.

2.    Altra formació i experiència professional, adequació al perfil proposat/ Other professional training and experience, adequacy to the proposed profile (0-40 punts/ points):

- Experiència en the use of complex systems in signal processing  , Working with state-of-the-art deep learning models

3. Altres merits (0-20 punts)

- Bons coneixements de MATLAB i Python.

- Nivell alt d'anglès
