Job Title: IT Cloud Analytics Architect (Snowflake Architect)
Location: Cracow, Poland
The IT Analytic Cloud Architect will have a strong background in cloud computing, data architecture, and advanced analytics with the ability to develop and implement business-driven BI and analytics end-to-end solutions to enable business to win in the markets and gain competitive advantage in a cloud environment.
The responsibility in this position will includes full life cycle management for each service: definition, design, construction, and operation, as well as the evolution of service offerings in partnership with stakeholders. This position will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver data driven insights and solutions to enhance business decision-making process throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work together with IT Analytics leadership to develop sustainable data/information architecture across the overall Galderma
- Collaborate with internal customers (i.e. functional/subject matter experts and/or end users) in various departments to build knowledge regarding their specific business area, unique processes, and operational data needed to support business objectives.
- Reviews business requests for service enhancements and undertakes cost evaluation, standards reviews,
- Design solutions that enable the seamless data flow between source systems, applications, and cloud platforms. Guide data lifecycle management, from data collection, processing, storage, archival and disposal
- Ensure data/information architectures meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Implement robust data security frameworks, including encryption, data masking, and access controls.
- Expertise in data governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing robust security practices across both cloud and on-prem environments.
- Drive architecture reviews, identify gaps and recommend design solutions, as well as help facilitate discussions to anticipate future needs and opportunities.
- Lead the rationalization of integration technologies to deliver a best-in-class, reliable and scalable Galderma integration framework.
- Continually innovate. Research the current and emerging technologies, proposing and leading architectural advancement and integration changes needed to all levels of the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of related experience within a corporate environment required; experience must include successful track record with data warehouse architecture, ETL (extract/transform/load) processing, understanding of BI and reporting platforms.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and fostering data-driven culture.
- In-depth knowledge of data management, data governance frameworks, data cataloging, and master data management.
- 8+ years of experience in Python and modern data platforms
- 8+ years of experience in cloud databases
- 8+ years of experience in orchestration tools and experience in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Strong background in cloud (Azure) environment with specific experience in Snowflake, Databricks and azure analytic services (data factory, fabric ….)
- Experience using PowerBI, Tableau or BOBJ (Business Objects) strongly preferred
- Familiar with data frameworks such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse,
- Proven leadership in data modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in driving adoption of cloud-native/cloud-first architectures.
- Excellent communication skills, engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English
