Serve as a thought leader in the delivery of complex risk reporting, data, business intelligence, and related services. Role is primarily aligned to support stakeholders, needs, and initiatives within the Risk Management Organization, but can also support other areas of Truist.LOCATION:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls.
2. Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.
3. Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes.
4. Assist with development of departmental documentation.
5. Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.
6. Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
7. Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2. 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.). Understanding of foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
4. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
7. Ability to lead small projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific emphasis on Enterprise Risk Management programs (Risk Measurement, Risk Appetite, Risk Identification), Committee reporting, Issue management, compliance or related areas experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Translate risk measurement policies into effective QA/QC measurement processes including health of the program and execution accuracy
Execute on weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks related to program
QA/QC activities including researching, monitoring and resolving identified findings and exceptions
Design, implement, and execute recurring or ad hoc QA/QC reports, analyses, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls
Assist in risk management efforts and initiatives such as updating procedures and reviewing program reporting for variances
Effectively summarize and present findings, exceptions and results to leadership
Advanced skills in data wrangling, data engineering, data science, or related areas. Experience with languages and tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, Qlik, Tableau, etc
Relevant Risk or Project management related professional or technical certifications strongly preferred
Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, communicating expectations and results related to findings and results
Demonstrate a positive, organized, efficient, detail-oriented mindset in all work activities
