Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.
The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Quantitative Analytics Specialist in Addison, Texas.
Job Role and Responsibility:
This role will consists of collecting and evaluating relevant functional, business and/or external data to identify patterns, connections or trends and uncovers opportunities. Applies analytics to facilitate decision-making. Clearly articulates analysis findings and insights verbally and in writing. Selects appropriate modeling technique and methodology required to solve the business problem most effectively. Applies mathematical, statistical and computation knowledge to build and test models. Generates models to produce predictions, forecasts and recommendations that meet functional and business needs. Communicates findings to internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless business integration. Generates narratives, presentations and other storytelling methods to communicate findings from quantitative analysis and model results. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s degree in Math, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving quantitative analytics experience.
Specific skills required:
2 years of quantitative analytics experience;
Python, SQL, Statistical analysis;
Supervised & Unsupervised learning techniques like logistic regression, decision trees;
Advance algorithms like XGBoost, Random Forest, Deep learning, Model deployment & monitoring.
Salary: $96,600 - $171,800
