Tyson & Mendes, a leading nationwide insurance defense law firm, is looking for an Auditing & Data Analytics Specialist. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Director (TMQD), and the Auditing & Data Analytics Manager (ADAM), this role serves as an integral part of the TM Quality Assurance (TMQ) team. The role is responsible for implementing TMQ’s ADA mission and vision via department support, and work on special projects. They will play a crucial role in executing TMQ’s auditing and data analytics day-to-day deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Auditing & Reporting
- Under the direction of the ADA Manager, responsible for executing yearly and quarterly auditing and reporting goals.
- Serves as our firm’s client management program super user ensuring accurate management of all internal and external client data.
- Under the guidance of the ADA Manager, works to proactively mitigate and resolve auditing and reporting escalations.
- Proactively presents solutions for ADA matters in anticipation of any potential issues. Escalates potential issues to TMQD and ADA Manager as necessary.
- Responsible for all internal and external auditing and reporting.
- Data Analytics
- In support of ADA leadership, responsible for creating compelling visual representations from complex client data.
- Responsible for the successful execution and delivery of quarterly external client reports.
- In support of ADA leadership runs reconciliation efforts (budgets, legal spend, ProLaw, etc.) for each case. Ensure closed-loop reporting on all accounts.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Preferred insurance defense and/or personal injury experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a litigation support role, or related experience.
- Paralegal certification and trial experience is preferred.
- Solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal calendar deadlines and rules).
- Experience with State/Federal court filings, One Legal and ECF filings.
- High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision.
- Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Exercises sound judgement, confidentiality, and discretion.
