What you'll do...

Position: Senior Data Analyst

Number of Positions Available: Three (3)

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Analyze and interpret information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develop and direct one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develop tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assume duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Model compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Design predictive analysis flow with automated scoring on live dataset by using Dataiku and Python; Exploratory data analysis, and data visualizations techniques using MS-Excel, Python, and Power BI; Data analytical techniques involving data wrangling, and data manipulation using SQL, Python and Excel; Developing predictive models using scripting languages like Python for solving business cases; Modeling supervised algorithms like logistic regression, classification using decision tree, random forest for generating actionable insights; Coding in object-oriented programming language (Python); Conduct descriptive analysis by using MS-Excel and pivot table; Model validations and testing using K-fold cross-validations and assessing the model performances; Big Data extractions, structured data manipulation by querying databases using MS-SQL; System design and analysis for translating business problems into data models to enable data-driven decision making for business leaders; Business processes involved in People analytics and consulting domain to formulate key performance metrics, design the measurement and monitoring framework for the same. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $113,949/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
