Great American Custom is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Los Angeles office.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Participates in the analysis of internal and external data and performs statistical modeling to develop actionable insights and recommendations to management regarding business and product performance.
- Develops data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends and extract knowledge.
- Participates in the creation of solutions that enable enhanced business performance and decision making through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques.
- Participate in using artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop processes automation.
- Researches and applies knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions.
- Develops and maintains business knowledge and customer relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, business analytics, or a related quantitative field plus two (2) years of experience with data science including some experience or coursework with structured data, machine learning, data visualization, Python, R and SQL.

- Master’s degree in data science, computer science, business analytics, or a related quantitative field with some experience or coursework with structured data, machine learning, data visualization, Python, R and SQL.
- Hybrid. Must be in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
