Data Engineer

We are seeking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Management team.

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the creation, design and management of modern intelligence applications/data bases to provide the necessary business information needed for decision making.

Responsibilities

·         Design, develop and optimize robust data pipelines and ETL processes

·         Build, maintain and optimize data architectures that support business intelligence and analytics

·         Participate in the design of databases/datamarts illustrating the classification of data and how they interact

·         Support data acquisition related to data collection, integration, enrichment, transformation and utilization

·         Automation reporting involving creation, management and distribution of reports/dashboards according to the requirements of the Business units

·         Implement best practices for data management and governance

Qualifications

·         Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (BSc, MSc)

·         3+ years of experience in a relevant position (relational/multidimensional databases)

·         Experience with relational databases and data warehousing solutions

·         Understanding of modern requirements & methodologies in data engineering and data management

·         Solid experience with SQL, Python

·         Proficiency in Azure, as well as expertise in data platforms such as Databricks and Synapse/Fabric

·         Very good knowledge of PowerBI

·         Familiarity of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, will be considered as an asset

·         Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS (Microsoft), will be considered as an asset

·         Customer-business service orientation and quality focus deliver
