This is an amazing opportunity within Data Analytics where you truly can put your ideas out there and watch them become a reality as part of this highly innovative team. You with ideally come from a strong Data Analytics background and have strong levels of experience with GCP and Python. We are currently undergoing an ambitious transformation program that entails building a robust in-house analytics team to handle the integration, modelling, prediction and inference of all customer quality issues utilising the best-in-class data analytics and machine learning tools and methods. This new analytics team will be responsible for developing and delivering our analytics strategy, coordinating our in-house analytics capability and solving our most complex analytics problems. To do this we are assembling an expert multi-disciplinary team of analytics professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. 
 
The role will require working within analytics project teams and with a wide range of functional business partners. You’ll focus on creating overall data & systems architecture to ensure business needs are met and Digital standards are maintained.

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes while ensuring data quality and integrity
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment
  • Deliver financial value to the business through analytics projects and enablement of future technologies such as GenAI & IoT
  • Manage projects/tasks using Agile/ DevOps development methodologies
  • Define and implement efficient, scalable, and secure data architectures to support analytics and business needs


WHAT YOU'LL NEED


In addition to your drive for excellence, you’ll bring certain skills, qualifications and experience, including:

 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience of working with Python and GCP
  • Experience of refactoring prototype data pipeline designs for scaling and regular execution
  • Understands query optimisation, efficient code design, version control and collaborative development
