ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Possesses a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, data warehousing principles, and business intelligence tools
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into actionable insights by extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into clear and concise analytical requirements. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the data landscape, including data sources, data quality, and data relationships
  • Extract, clean, transform, and load data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms. Design and develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve and analyze data
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Build and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights to business stakeholders. Develop and maintain data quality metrics and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and business intelligence. Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years experience OR a Master’s degree and 10 years of experience OR a PhD and 8 years of experience.
  • High School diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
  • At least 7 years of position-specific relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
  • Experience with data analysis techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and clustering. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst role, with a focus on business intelligence and analytics.
  • PhD, Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques, data visualization best practices, and agile-informed development methodologies. Relevant industry-standard certifications. Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), CompTIA Data+, and Microsoft Certified Data Analyst–Expert.
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
